I have abnormal hair growth around my nipples - the hair is rather long and coarse - like pubic hair. My question is, what specialist should I consult? A gynaecologist? Or should I see a General Practitioner who can refer me to a specialist?

Some coarse hair around the nipple can be normal. In this country, you would see your general practitioner first. You may also be interested in reading our article on hirsutism.
