Confidence - go on, you can do it!

Students face many challenges in their everyday lives. These include academic tasks but often also personal and emotional issues. To deal well with these challenges, you need strength but above all confidence in your abilities. It is well recognised that a lot of people lack confidence and may underachieve as a result. Your confidence may also be impaired as part of broader psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression. Most people can develop greater understanding of themselves and make better use of their strengths in challenging situations. For advice and help with getting more confident, visit the excellent A href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/confidence/"> BBC Confidence Lab. You can learn about various techniques in ‘Get Confident’, a web based course designed by experts. Don’t miss it, you CAN do it!
