How do you find out how much you should weigh?
When trying to assess your ideal weight, it is clearly essential to consider your height. This can be achieved using the Body mass index (BMI).

BMI = weight (kg) / height (m)2

Weight in kg e.g. 75

Height in metres e.g. 1.83

Click this button to calculate your BMI

Ideal BMI = 20 to 24.9

Less than 20 = Underweight
More than 25-30 = Overweight
More than 30 = Clinically Obese

An increasing proportion of our society is now overweight and carries the health risks associated with obesity.

Being significantly underweight also carries health risks and requires attention.
